Frock Friday - Etsy!!!

Good Morning Girls!

I absolutely love, love, love, LOVE Etsy! And I often find myself perusing the site for new crafting/crafters, artisans and DIY'ers. As you guys may know I fancy myself a crafty gal. I make wedding shoes and love it. But I hate limiting myself, so I also make paintings, curtains and napkins, felted critters and jewelry.

But my real admiration lies toward a true seamstress. Someone clever and patient enough to make something from nothing that has me shouting with joy, "Oh, my goodness, I want it!" or "I wish I could do that!"

For Frock Friday today I am featuring just those kinds of folks. The ones whose very creations make you wish they were your friends. They are, you could say, celebrities! Check out these sweeties.

Oh, my word! Would you look at this! The wedding gown of ruffled, hand dyed tulle surrounded by these cupcakes. The whole scenario is good enough to eat. And at less than $1500 to have a dress all your own!
Ouma is a must see destination on Etsy! I want one of those party dresses!

If your looking for a dress in a shorter, perhaps  more casual style, this dress is amazing. The tulle crumb catcher/peplum is so different and the tiered skirt so flattering! The little peeps of lace are so surprising and satisfying. The dress is called Queen for a Day and what a befitting title! Claire La Faye is located in Portland, Oregon. This dress is $1150.
Anyone who knows me, knows that silk organza is my all time favorite fabric. I had to include this dress for the sheer fact that it is Organdy and that the craftsmanship here is exquisite! The gown is called Belinda and you should look at it here! Leanne Marshall is an expert at her craft and that is clear in all the dresses that she makes.
Marlowe (below) happens to be my favorite at her shop right now but my goodness, Cassandra is
sumptuous and Annabelle - uniquely layered - yummy!
By the way, she makes all kinds of things: tops, casual dresses, jumpers and coats!

Here's another one I found on Etsy. It's silk taffeta and made in Russia expressly for you. The little capped sleeves and the stunning rosette are so pretty and feminine. The deep plunging neckline is avant-garde but the dress itself is not overly modern. This is a great marriage between modern and classic.
Eidel Weiss Bride will customize this gown exactly to your specifications!
