Something Pretty...and so different!

So you know how I feel about a bridal bouquet (see my previous post). I say go big or go home. But if a big, real flower bouquet isn't your bag...don't be a drag...do something pretty and different.

I started felting about a year ago. I went to visit my friend Tara in Portland, Oregon. And oh my, she had wee strawberries felted all over the place and had then embarked on a little dog, a doll, a bug...last winter she made me a Robin Redbreast to harken new flowers. This spring she sent me a tiny felted apple for no good reason except that she knows I would love it. I'm not the only one!

It's a fact that weddings have become an event specific to each couple. It was once a celebration that did not necessarily vary from bride to bride all that much. But now, there is nothing that dictates to ALL brides how to be and what to do. I love flowers and I love felt and Megan Hunt is an amazing artisan that marries (Hm...) the two.

But wait, Meagan doesn't stop there. No, she is truly amazing! She makes dresses too. And ordinarily I would save these for Frock Friday's but I just can't! These are really different and sweet and charming and clever and 'insert adjective here'! Plus the model has outstanding expressions...these dresses say, "My wedding is going to be really, really fun!"

Her call name is Princess Lasertron and it's clear why. You need a super hero name when you are a megastar!
